Flymaster devices have undergone several manufacturing series that use different communication protocols. On the Flymaster site, we apparently no longer find the communication drivers alone. Flymaster Designer can be downloaded with drivers included. Problem : this will not work with the first scale (B1/B2).

The Flymaster USA importer has done an excellent job of summarizing the various devices. This table can be consulted on theirsite. However, the link on the referenced driver 2.08.30 is dead. On the site FTDI, we were able to find a driver with the same reference that works… You can download this driver on our website.

CDM driver installation guide 2.08.24 WHQL :

• Unzip the downloaded zip into a folder
• Connect the Flymaster
• Go to the control panel and select the device manager
• The Flymaster is not recognized

• Right-click on the line usb serial port with the info panel
• Select the option Update driver
• Choose Search for a driver on my computer

• Select the folder containing the unzipped driver
• After a few seconds, you should see this message appear

• The list of devices should be updated automatically. The line usb serial port disappears and a line usb serial port (COMx) appears in the sections Ports (COM and LPT)

• GPS is now recognized by Logfly or Flymaster Designer
